This week is my spring break (woohoo!). So, I met Brent at his work for lunch and did something I had kinda been avoiding...went to Chinatown. Brent works around the corner from Chinatown and he wanted me to see this fortune cookie shop...so I went.
It's pretty cool watching the women make these fortune cookies. They move so fast. You can also get a free sample...
...and for .50 you can take a picture with the fortune cookie lady! Not a bad deal! I wonder how much it would cost for her to stop working and smile for the camera?
Anyways....I'm glad I finally made it to Chinatown. It wasn't even as touristy as I thought. Although we were probably the only non-tourist in that fortune cookie store.
Ha. That made me laugh out loud. Glad it was fun!
